We are excited to be taking part in Being Human 2020, the UK’s only national festival and celebration of the humanities! The full line up of free events and activities happening all over the country has been revealed today! Take a look here.

We have four events during the festival, both online and in person. We are delighted to be showcasing some of the work from this online exhibition at a travelling physical exhibition. The Illustrating Anthropology exhibition will be on display in Liverpool at the Open Eye Gallery and in Sheffield at Bloc Projects.

Last week I participated in the ‘Anthropology and Geography: Dialogues Past, Present and Future’ conference which was jointly organised by the Royal Anthropological Institute, the Royal Geographical Society, the British Academy, the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at SOAS, and the British Museum’s Department for Africa, Oceania and the Americas. I was invited to join a roundtable discussion on ‘Public Anthropology and Geography’, chaired by Dr Joe Smith, the director of the Royal Geographical Society with IBG.
